Chenggang Xu,Male, Born in Henan province, Ph.D. in Agriculture, Associate professor. He received his Ph.D Degree in 2012 at South China Agricultural University. He was assigned to work at his alma mater after graduating from the Veterinary College of South China Agricultural University in June 2004. From June 2014 to June 2015, he paid a visit to the University of Auburn, Alabama as a Visiting scholar.
Chenggang Xu has been doing his research for more than fourteen years. His research is currently focusing on poultry infectious disease epidemiology, etiology, immunology and prevention and control technology. He has undertaken three scientific and technological projects of Guangdong Province, participated in one of the key sub-projects of the 13th Five-Year Plan, won one scientific and technological progress prize of Guangdong Province, one scientific and technological progress prize of the Ministry of Education, two harvest prizes of agriculture, animal husbandry and fishery of the Ministry of Agriculture, two agricultural technology promotion prizes of Guangdong Province, one science popularization prize of the Chinese Agricultural Science and Technology Prize, and one science and technology prize of 1 awards and published more than 30 papers.
